El neozelandés tuvo un rival feroz, que aguantó sus embates y generó ofensiva. Gedo, fiel secuaz del Swithcblade, distrajo a Henare para que el del Bullet Club pasara a la siguiente ronda.

David Finlay regresó junto a Juice Robinson a suelo nipón, y lo hizo con una victoria. Poco más de 10 minutos le bastaron para dar cuenta de Chase Owens, en el primer duelo clasificatorio.
